The fragility of the seasons, and of you.

The fragility of the seasons, and of you.
The past week I have been working non stop to get everything in the new studio in order. On Monday I had my first shoot in the new place with a larger team, it was a cover and beauty shoot and those are always very strenuous on the entire team because a lot is at stake. With the cover photos we really have to know that we've nailed it before we move on, and with the beauty editorial style photography everything is in the details: the movement of the hair, the presence in the model's eyes, the makeup and the light. The shoot went great and I am very pleased with the photos thus far. After that, though, I've had a week of editing film and retouching photos, and enjoying the company of my studio roomie/tenant Emma. Yesterday we went for an afternoon walk in the neighbourhood where the studio is located, and I showed her some of my favourite spots. I still can't believe this is my second home for three years now. I hope I'll never grow tired of it's beauty. - Emily
