I don't know if you remember this shoot from back in October, but here are the photos anyways. I really like the result (at the moment, this always changes, as is customary if you are a creative person, I believe). The model is Julia R and the hair and makeup is by Loiz Blomberg, part of my little team of "go to"-people. I also very much enjoyed working with Julia for a second time, she takes direction really well and has this timeless face that conveys emotion beautifully.
My vision for this shoot was this ethereal, minimalist approach with focus on beautiful light and "no makeup"-makeup. I hope to have much more time to devote to my personal projects in the coming year, as I have noticed how only realising other people's visions takes a toll on my own creative voice. All in all one could say that I am re-thinking my creative task as a whole, right now. Every day I find myself seeing things more clearly, after years of being kind of caught up in a haze of production without real voice. Maybe I'll tell you more about this in coming weeks. Anyways, I hope that 2018 will be a year of break-throughs and self-development. I believe it will be inevitable. And I can't wait. - Emily
