Keeping it magical.

Keeping it magical.
A couple of weeks ago I went with my brother, his fiancé and their kids to Södertuna slott outside of Gnesta. It was such a beautiful day, and the mist hung thick in the air, turning the village across the lake in to a fairytale landscape. Very Narnia! My brother and his fiancé are getting married here this year so they wanted to show me the location. It really is beautiful, and we had the afternoon tea too, which was great. But best of all was to spend time with my nephew, playing in the snow. I love being part of his childhood memories, I hope he'll remember this day and me in it just like I will. When we hang out I try to make the world as crazy and magical as possible, because I want him to know that it can be. I cherish the fact that he still believes in Santa and the Easter bunny, just because I remember that feeling. The hope that maybe, just maybe, the was some truth to myth.
Today I'm in the studio preparing for two shoots tomorrow, and doing some accounting - so looking back at days like this one is a great way to survive the tedium. Another way is to read this interview with me over at The Local. I think this is one of my favourite interviews I have ever done, partly because the writing is really good (which seldom happens), and partly because I got do this interview at a time in my life when my point of view is clearer than ever before. On what I think and where I stand on blogging, influencing and trends etc. Go check it out! - Emily
